23 Iravai Moodu was released on 16 May 2025, and was opened for positive reviews and significant praise at the box office. The social drama was postponed as a difficult time as it paid tribute to three huge massacres in real life, which took place between 1991 and 1997. The film is now ready for an OTT release.

The Telugu drama 23 Iravai Mudu has started streaming on the ETV win starting from June 27. The OTT veteran announced the same through a post on his X handle.
Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote that “Money, Cast, Power .. No, who have no justice?#23 Iravaimoodu streaming now on @tvwin.”

The story of the film is inspired by three different real-life tragedies. These are 1991-Tanduru Massacre, 1993-Chilakaluripata bus burning incident and 1997 car bomb blasts in Hyderabad.
The film, at its core, raises questions on the topics of dignity, justice and social reform, making an outrage to bold and ideological realities.
Speaking about the plot, it revolves around a person named Sagar, who dreams of a peaceful life with his love Sushila. Quickly in an attempt to earn more money, he unexpectedly becomes part of a huge crime, where he unknowingly sets a bus on fire, killing all 23 people.
When realizing his misdeeds, he is shaken by regrets and guilt because he quietly expects some kind of redemption and releases to come in his way.

The film stars Teeja, Tanmai, Jhansi, Pavon Ramesh, Thagubothu Ramesh and Pranat in lead roles.
This studio is directed, directed and manufactured by Raj Rachakonda under the banner of 99. Mark’s Robin has composed the music score.
