Kantha explores the story of 1950s Tamil cinema superstar TK Mahadevan, who ends up in a clash of egos with his former mentor, Ayya. As the officer investigates the crime, a young man named Aadhi develops a complicated relationship with his mother’s therapist, Meera, making the dynamics within the complex even more unstable. With a crime scene backdrop, the film focuses on the investigation, with each of the author’s neighbors appearing to have a possible motive and a hidden secret.
How Magudapathy uncovers the truth, and how Meera and Aadhi’s relationship becomes the central thread of the story, and is explored throughout the film.
