The much awaited Shah Rukh Khan-starrer King is allegedly facing some delay, and will now go on the floor in June instead of March 2025.

This is because director Siddharth Anand is busy adding the final touch to the script, Bollywood Hungama said.

“Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan have made films like Pathan and the idea is to increase the standards set by YRF Spie Universe film with King. Therefore, Sid is getting all the things right on paper before taking the film on the floor, “a source told the publication.

He said, “The film will be started in India and Europe from June 2025. Red Chilli Entertainment and Marfix are committed to providing the audience a big-life cinematic experience and bringing the film to the big screen by the end of 2026.”

Raja will also present SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan in an important role. Munjya actor Abhay Verma will also act in it.

Earlier, at the Locarno Film Festival, Khan opened about Raja and said, “This is an action drama, this is a Hindi film. It will be interesting. I would like to do such a film for some time, and I really wanted to do such a film for seven, eight years.

Apart from Raja, Shah Rukh Khan also has Tiger vs. Patha in the pipeline.
