Here are the X reviews:

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is the love story of Ashish (Ajay Devgan) and Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh). In the film, Ashish meets Ayesha’s parents, played by R Madhavan and Gautami Kapoor. Although they initially try to be progressive about the significant age difference, tension arises when they discover that Ashish is almost the same age as Ayesha’s father. The trailer also features Meezaan Jaffrey’s character, who is set up by Ayesha’s parents to win her over and end her relationship with Ashish.

The prequel, ‘De De Pyaar De’ (2019), showed Ashish seeking acceptance from his estranged family and reconciles with both his family and Ayesha with the help of his ex-wife Manju (Tabu). The sequel focuses on Ashish seeking blessings from Ayesha’s family.

India Today, in its review of the film, wrote, “It’s a thoroughly crowd-pleasing, and comfortably familiar – never extravagant, but never dull. This is the kind of film you watch knowing what you’re going to get, and that’s exactly what you get. ‘De De Pyar De 2’ is comfortable. If you like rom-coms, and want to give Bollywood a try, watch it.”

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is scheduled for theatrical release on November 14, 2025.
