BB 19 Episode 79: Tanya Mittal calls Amaal Malik shameless amid kitchen brawl
The political war turned personal in episode 79 of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ as Kunika Sadanand’s all-female alliance clashed with Amaal Malik over bias. This culminates in a bitter confrontation in the kitchen with Tanya over ground rules of the house.

The latest episode of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ plunged the house into a political war during the captaincy challenge, leading to immediate restructuring and intense clashes. Amaal Malik was accused of favoritism, which culminated in a bitter and escalating personal feud between her and Tanya Mittal over house rules and respect.
captaincy challenge
The political captaincy challenge saw an immediate realignment. Mridul and Pranit join Gaurav’s group. Ashnoor and Malti paired up with Shehbaz, while Farhana and Tanya formed Kunika’s ‘Shakti’ party, an all-female alliance that she immediately described as the most formidable.
The manifesto highlighted key strengths: Pride’s group emphasized their resilience after surviving multiple nominations, and their emotional honesty in the game. Meanwhile, Shehbaz named his group ‘Party’ and claimed that they are the most entertaining. The task was not without conflict: a minor dispute broke out between Gaurav and Farhana, and Kunika later accused operator Amaal of showing favoritism during the proceedings.
Amal was tasked with selecting the party that would run the best campaign. He declared Gaurav’s Sangharsh Party the winner, but Tanya, Kunika and Farhana called him biased and unjust. He also accused people from the other group of being misogynists.
Kunika’s team won the second round
In the second round, moderator Amal Malik interrogated the members of each political group. He questioned Pranit More on the decision to eliminate Abhishek and challenged Mridul on why she chose the 90 percent ration option. Turning to Kunika’s team, Amaal questions Kunika about Tanya’s loyalty and then directly asks Tanya if she has betrayed Neelam.
After this, Amaal puts pressure on Malti Chahar (from Shehbaz’s team) to expose Tanya. Malti responded that Tanya is not genuine and claimed that the actress does not even understand the meaning of the word “spiritual”. However, Malti later expressed her displeasure with Amal, saying that he was focusing “too much” on Tanya. This infuriates Tanya, whose anger flares up after Malti’s comment, leading to her calling Malti an “idiot” and a heated argument between the two. Despite the drama, Amaal did not agree with Malti’s statements and ultimately declared Kunika Sadanand’s team the winner of the round.
The dispute between Amaal vs Tanya is increasing
The recent episode showed that Amal is once again focusing his attention on Tanya. He insisted that everyone in the house should eat together at the common table, but Tanya flatly refused. In response, Amal announced that if she did not comply, she would not receive food. Tanya replied saying that she did not come into the house to suffer such insult. Amidst their argument, Tanya escalated the controversy by calling Amal ‘shameless’ and ‘ill-mannered’. She angrily claimed that Amal was treating her disrespectfully, as if she was unimportant.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ airs at 9 pm on JioHotstar and at 10:30 pm on Colors.
